Maven has been appointed to design a primary and urgent care facility at Reko Diq, a landmark venture led by Barrick Mining (Canada) to develop one of the world’s largest undeveloped gold and copper mines.
Maven is undertaking the work in collaboration with leading engineering and construction firm CECL, lead contractor, for the construction of the permanent accommodation camp for the project, that is estimated to require 7,500 workers during the construction phase and 4,000 permanent staff.
The facility will deliver emergency, primary, and preventive healthcare services in a remote and challenging environment, ensuring timely medical response and promoting occupational health and safety.
