Envisioned by Abu Dhabi based Andalus Holdings, co-sponsored by Blue chip private investors, and affiliated with Imperial College UK NHS Trust, Novacare is a first-of-its-kind tertiary care hospital project located in Islamabad. Spread across a 225,000 sqft parcel and master planned for 450 beds, the first phase comprises 250 beds with a built up area of 593,000 sqft. 

The hospital is planned to meet the diverse care needs of people across the Islamabad region. The inpatient tower’s orientation maximizes views of the surrounding mountainous landscape, with a striking elevation to reinforce the facility’s meaningful presence in its community and support Novacare’s brand identity.

The building features a diamond-patterned façade that resembles a jewel box, establishing it as a radiant landmark signifying the value of health and well-being. Interior spaces are infused with biophilic elements, featuring natural materiality and local stones that symbolize strength and renewal.

Advanced sustainability features align with Employer’s commitment to environmental responsibility and the project is on track to be Pakistan’s first LEED, & EDGE-certified hospital. Collaboration with Imperial College Healthcare enabled the design and health system teams to adopt internationally recognized clinical standards and protocols, ensuring the delivery of world-class services. The design caters to the evolving needs of local communities and fosters a professionally conducive environment for health practitioners.
